These 2 words can hardly express our gratitude and appreciation to the Irish Dance community. We are humbled by your generosity. Many of our families continue to make repairs to, or rebuild, their homes. The entire New Orleans area will take years to rebuild but we are all strengthened by the awe inspiring stories that we experience and hear of human kindness.
Adjusting to the many changes in our lives has not been an easy task. However our lives do go on and we all make the best of the situations with which we must deal. Through your generosity our dance family has been able to continue. Returning to normal activities has been a vital part of daily life for all of our dancers.
We have used, and continue to use, the funds donated to us to help our group as a whole. We have replaced our feis stages and rented a new studio. This allows all of our dancers to continue to practice and participate in something that is so important to each of them.
We appreciate our friends, surroundings and the luxuries of every day life including Irish Dance. New Orleans has changed and will never be the same because we have all changed as well.
Come see our city and help our Irish Dance community thrive by participating in Feis New Orleans on Saturday May 31, 2008
